When the Board and Minister decide to offer an internship, the process will be guided by the rules of the Ministerial Fellowship Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Association and the expectations of the school at which the intern has matriculated.


Intern Ministers at DUUC:

  • Are ex officio, non-voting member of all committees and organizations of the Church, excluding the Committee on Ministries (COM).  An Intern Minister may attend COM at the invitation of the Committee and minister.
  • May vote in the business meetings of the Church provided the Intern Minister has met the membership requirements as defined in the Membership Policies and Procedures.
  • Are assigned tasks and responsibilities by the Minister consistent with recommendations of the Ministerial Fellowship Committee, the school at which the student matriculates, and in agreement with the policies and constitution of DUUC.
